Organic electronics - From lab to markets

Abstract— Organic semiconductors with conjugated electron system are currently intensively investigated for optoelectronic applications. This interest is spurred by novel devices such as organic light-emitting diodes (OLED), organic solar cells, and flexible electronics. In this talk, I will discuss some of the recent progress in realizing devices, in particular highly efficient white OLED for lighting and flexible organic solar cells.
